{"id":18364,"date":"2019-05-15T09:43:35","date_gmt":"2019-05-15T07:43:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/la-minute-social-media-voyage\/"},"modified":"2019-05-15T09:43:35","modified_gmt":"2019-05-15T07:43:35","slug":"la-minute-social-media-voyage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/en\/la-minute-social-media-voyage\/","title":{"rendered":"La Minute Social Media voyage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To keep you up to date with all the latest social media news, we&#8217;ve selected the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/nos-services\/strategie-digitale\/\">social media travel<\/a> news of April that you shouldn&#8217;t miss, especially as Facebook&#8217;s annual F8 conference, presented by Mark Zukerberg, had plenty of surprises in store for everyone.<br \/>\nWith F8, Facebook aims to be more transparent.<br \/>\nInitially aimed at developers, the conference is now open to a much wider audience.<br \/>\nThe aim of Facebook&#8217;s CEO is to make the platform more respectful of its users&#8217; privacy, and to bring new features via innovative applications and products.<br \/>\nAfter a number of crises and controversies surrounding Facebook, Mark Zukerberg had high hopes for F8 to make his mark.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ll also be looking at innovations from Linkedin, Snapchat and Instagram.     <\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>What&#8217;s new in Snapchat 2019:<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To overcome its declining popularity, <strong>Snapchat<\/strong> has launched a brand new non-skippable ad format called<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ads-up.fr\/blog\/snapchat-ads-commercials\/\">Commercials<\/a><\/strong>This is a new type of advertising on Snapchat aimed exclusively at professionals and brands. The format will be available in the shows section of the app. Thanks to more precise targeting, <strong>Commercials<\/strong> will improve campaign ROI.<\/p>\n<h2>What&#8217;s new in Linkedin 2019 :<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As for <strong>Linkedin<\/strong>, they have responded to users&#8217; desire to be able to react in different ways to posts with the introduction of Celebrate, Love, Insightful and Curious.<br \/>\nThis new feature has been visible in France for a few days now.<br \/>\nHave you noticed?  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-933 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/linkedin-300x82.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"121\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/linkedin-300x82.png 300w, https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/linkedin.png 594w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 443px) 100vw, 443px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;  Secondly, Linkedin takes its inspiration from other social networks and develops Linkedin Live.<br \/>\nCurrently only in BETA version in the U.S., this function will enable users to broadcast live videos on the platform.<br \/>\nFor the moment, Linkedin Live is not yet open to all, and is available by invitation only.<br \/>\nIt will eventually be open to all users.<br \/>\nPete Davies, Director of Product Management, explains that it seemed fundamental for the network to take on Live video, as it is one of the most in-demand features at the moment.      <\/p>\n<h2>Instagram and Facebook news for 2019 :<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Instagram<\/strong> also wants to offer more reactions to posts, as currently it is only possible to like and comment.<br \/>\nUsers will then be able to choose an emoji based on their emotion.<br \/>\nThe function is currently only available in the United States.<br \/>\nBut we&#8217;ll be sure to let you know when it&#8217;s available in France.<br \/>\nAs we&#8217;ve already seen on Facebook, posts featuring contests with different emojis will be making a comeback.<br \/>\nThe algorithm should first decide which publication is the most viral or receives the most different emotions, and then see its order of appearance evolve in followers&#8217; feeds, as a matter of logic.     <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In April, <strong>Facebook<\/strong> confirmed the success of its stories.<br \/>\nIt now has around 500 million users.<br \/>\nThe format has also appealed to professionals, who are pleased with the results.<br \/>\nThis is surprising, given that Facebook stories don&#8217;t really appeal to Millenials, who largely prefer Instagram or Snapchat stories.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Facebook<\/strong> also presents its new design on mobile and desktop, with a cleaner, more modern interface.<br \/>\nFacebook groups are highlighted by a special pane that lets you discover new groups with a category for each.<br \/>\nFacebook is also announcing other new features, such as Facebook dating, which will be launched in 14 countries.<br \/>\nThis function will enable users to add their crushes to a &#8220;Secret Crush&#8221; list.<br \/>\nIf the person concerned also uses Facebook dating, he or she will receive a notification to this effect.    <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This summer, <strong>Facebook<\/strong> will make it easier for us to find out about events taking place near our location, so we can receive recommendations and organize ourselves and our loved ones to go to events together.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-941 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/travel-insight-F8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"615\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/travel-insight-F8.jpg 615w, https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/travel-insight-F8-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/>As for <strong>Messenger<\/strong>, new features have also been added.<br \/>\nFrom now on, there&#8217;s a desktop application that will soon be downloadable on Windows and MacOS, and you&#8217;ll also be able to create lists of close friends to share content exclusively with those closest to you.<br \/>\nThere will also be a function for making appointments with local businesses.<br \/>\nThere&#8217;s a lot involved here, and conversations will be the focus of attention with your page&#8217;s followers.<br \/>\nPage engagement should quickly be called into question, to make way for conversational indicators.<br \/>\nFor all travel businesses, this means strengthening their marketing, support and maintenance teams.<br \/>\nA Facebook page will no longer simply be a channel for distributing information, but also for information and conversation with the teams in charge of its community management.      <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-942 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/autocollant-don-instagram-f8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"899\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/autocollant-don-instagram-f8.png 664w, https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/autocollant-don-instagram-f8-300x131.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 899px) 100vw, 899px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Instagram<\/strong> will soon be launching its new camera.<br \/>\nThere will be a Create mode with several new tools.<br \/>\nInstagram hasn&#8217;t revealed much information yet, but more precise announcements are expected in the coming months.<br \/>\nIn the U.S., it is possible to use a sticker to launch a fundraising campaign;
