{"id":19098,"date":"2020-09-18T10:10:25","date_gmt":"2020-09-18T08:10:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/iftm-top-resa-postponed-to-2021\/"},"modified":"2020-09-18T10:10:25","modified_gmt":"2020-09-18T08:10:25","slug":"iftm-top-resa-postponed-to-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/en\/iftm-top-resa-postponed-to-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"IFTM Top Resa postponed to 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IFTM Top Resa, the major tourism trade show in Paris, is an event that exhibitors, visitors and students alike look forward to every year.<br \/>\nIFTM represents 200 destinations, 1,700 brands, 34,000 tourism professionals and over 150 conferences. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The show, organized by Reed Expositions, was due to open its doors again this year from November 17 to 20, 2020.<br \/>\nGiven the situation, the <sup>42nd<\/sup> edition of the IFTM Top Resa trade show will not take place this year, 2020.<br \/>\nToday, at the offices of Travel-Insight, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Lorin,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iftm.fr\/fr-fr.html\"> IFTM Top Resa<\/a> Show Director, announced the postponement of this key tourism event to 2021.  <\/p>\n<p><div class=\"video-container\"><iframe style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fiftmparis%2Fvideos%2F2698013597181573%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=734&amp;appId=527583344016376&amp;height=734\" width=\"734\" height=\"734\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He wished to comment on the causes of this postponement, which were as follows: <em>&#8220;the repeated postponement of events involving more than 5,000 people, an economic recovery that we had all hoped for and expected and which failed to materialize, the closure of many borders, all of this leading to a virtual impossibility to travel. <\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under these conditions, the show could not have taken place.<br \/>\nIndeed, the President speaks of a <em>&#8220;duty of respect, a duty of loyalty, a duty of transparency, (&#8230;) a duty of trust&#8221; <\/em>towards the tourism industry. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Lorin does not wish to &#8221; <em>offer a show that won&#8217;t be able to keep its promises<\/em> &#8220;.<br \/>\nWe can deduce from this statement that he doesn&#8217;t want to disappoint all the people who make this a unique event. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For this reason, he expresses his gratitude to the event&#8217;s customers and partners and declares that this is a <em>&#8220;difficult but necessary decision&#8221; <\/em>which, for him, is <em>&#8220;an opportunity to once again warmly thank our customers and partners for their trust, loyalty and unwavering support for the IFTM Top Resa trade show&#8221;. <\/em> <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He concludes by saying that the whole team is mobilized and ready to work on the session that will finally take place next year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We&#8217;ll be attending the <sup>42nd<\/sup> edition from October 5 to 8, 2021 at Porte de Versailles &#8211; Hall 1!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For us, the postponement of the show also means the postponement of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travel-insight.fr\/le-village-des-influenceurs\/\">Influencers&#8217; Village<\/a>, where last year over thirty content creators were selected for their social media statistics and professionalism.<br \/>\nThis year was to have been the<sup>3rd<\/sup> edition, but this moment of sharing and exchange between influencers and\/or bloggers and industry professionals, such as destinations, tour operators, major distributors and travel agencies, has been postponed. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">See you in 2021 for a highly anticipated edition!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IFTM Top Resa, the major tourism trade show in Paris, is an event that exhibitors, visitors and students alike look forward to every year.
